Company Overview

Yankee Scientific was founded in 1988 by business minded engineers who have worked together as a team since the `70s in an industrial problem solving environment. We understand the challenge of making new things work and making old things work better.  Our strength lies in our thorough understanding of the fundamental technical possibilities for innovative and practical new energy products and our ability to forge strategic business relationships with industry leading manufacturers. Yankee Scientific has modern facilities in Medfield, Massachusetts, which include a well-equipped shop for prototype construction and a laboratory for testing and experimentation.

Experience

Our core knowledge is in heat transfer, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics and machine design.  There are not many things involving thermal or mechanical power that have escaped our attention over the years.  We bring an extensive array of talents and experience to the table.  Over the years we have designed and built many novel prototype devices and products that are both practical and cost-effective.  Experience has shown that the best chances of success are attained by combining an analytical approach with “hands-on" engineering and empirical data.  We are familiar with our clients’ markets and we stay informed of the latest developments in our fields of expertise, in the US as well as abroad.
